I'm not sure what "the project" is, so I will say what the word "organelle" means to me: it is a nebulous, undefined term used as an IRC nick by a man and as a moniker for his work. In general, I read it as an IRC nick. > How did you first come across Organelle? > Did you read something on the site? Stumble into the channel? Did > someone refer you? What were your reactions? I came to know organelle via #spirit on undernet. > What is your relationship to Organelle? > How has it changed or grown? How has it affected you? How have you > participated? I am a casual observer and vocal critic. I have spent a fair amount of time participating in the IRC channel. I would say that I have not been affected to any significant degree by my time spent there. > What brought you to and/or keeps you interested in the project? > OR what turned you away? I am interested in what organelle is trying to do, what he teaches, why he is doing what he is doing, and what led him to it. It is simple morbid curiosity. What has kept me participating in the IRC channel in the past is the desire to communicate with like-minded people, and the aforementioned curiosity about organelle himself. What has turned me away is the lack of communication regarding organelle himself and the aggressive defensiveness of organelle when engaged in meta-discussions about himself and his work. In particular, I find the aggression and the obstinate narrow-mindedness that causes it to be unpalatable. > What do you feel would best help Organelle to grow and evolve? > How could this best be achieved? What, if anything, is holding it > back? I believe that organelle's work is flawed from the outset due to the man's personality problems. Particularly, his abandonment of logic and his teaching methods, which I believe to broken and based in arrogance rather than the desire to help others understand. I believe that the open and clear discussion of organelle and his teaching methods, ie, meta-discussion, is necessary for progression to occur. Organelle himself must be involved in these discussions and moreover, act on them. > What do you see in the project's future? > Where is it headed? How will it change or grow? I believe that organelle will never acknowledge shortcomings in himself and hence will never work to overcome the problems created by them. For this reason, I believe the attainment of serious goals will never occur. I believe that over time, organelle will maintain a small band of followers and acolytes. I believe that all followers will eventually leave the group due to conflict stemming from organelle's personality problems. Those that leave will not return, but new acolytes will be drafted in by organelle in order to maintain the group. Eventually, organelle's goal will become the maintenance of this group and all serious goals will become secondary. > Is there anything else you'd like to add?:=20 > Any questions or comments you'd like to share with Organelle, members > of the project, or people in general? My experience with organelle tells me he is deceitful.
