This page is dedicated to our wonderful youngsters who are no doubt the future of this great club. The Sports Club first started catering for the needs of the youngsters in 1988. A football session was arranged to coincide with the Volleyball training hours on a Saturday Evening from 6.00 pm till 10.00 pm at the Broadway Leisure centre. The sports gym hall was hired out for the youngsters to play 5-A-side Football. The sessions became very popular and there was an influx of youngsters taking part. Further to this the decided to introduce more activities such as Pool, Table Tennis, Board Games, Volleyball training and a tuck shop where snacks can be purchased. As a result of the growing numbers taking part an Academy was formed by the club. By having the Academy it would allow the club to train and nurture the youngsters into each sport. The academy currently hosts a number of football teams for a number of ages, the Under 16’s, 14’s, 12’s and a Junior Squad. We can proudly say that the academy has a regular turn out of 50 youngsters and more. The Academy is regularly entered into Tournaments and taken out to special training days at Perry Hall Park and Villa Park. All sessions are supervised by committee members and volunteering adults.
