Don't worry about copyright, it doesn't apply on the Freenet network. By 'stealing' cartoons we are not harming the cartoonists who created them. The publishers and middlemen would have made all the profit on the above; not the artists.

Although they've made their money, the publishers and middlemen still want us to keep on paying to view the stuff - for year after year after year. They want to keep IP-protected humour SCARCE and the price of viewing it HIGH. That's how capitalism works. Everything is kept scarce and priced so that few people can afford it.
